"Playing" in Mill Hill With two of the largest "adult playgrounds" just a short drive or train ride away (of course, we're referring to NYC and Philly), there's no reason ever to be bored living in Mill Hill. On the weekends, if you time it right, you can drive from Mill Hill to NYC's theatre district in about 1:10. And Philly's in about 0:35. Really. The Jersey Shore can be reached via I-195 in about 45 minutes, and rarely sees traffic, even on the hottest weekend of the year.

Walking There are some great places to walk and hike in Trenton. One of our favorites is the "levee" walk along the Delaware, crossing into Pennsylvania via the "Trenton Makes" bridge, and returning via the Calhoun Street bridge. It's about 2.5 miles, and just the thing to get rid of the "sitting around blues". You can get complete details here from Hidden Trenton. Also, be sure to check out Washington Crossing State Park and the Sourlands Preserve. |

Cycling You can cycle right from central Trenton along the D&R Canal tow path, missing most automobile traffic. There's also fantastic cycling in the Delaware Valley, just a short drive upstream from Trenton. |

Fishing The Delaware River, which runs right through town, offers some incredible fresh water fishing. A world-famous shad run, a less-famous, but no less exciting striper run are only a few of the amazing quarry. During the later spring, summer, and fall, you can go after smallmouth bass and carp. No kidding. |
