Neighborhood Events

The neighborhood sponsors many events year round, many of which are targeted for families and kids. The Kids Committee of the OMHS is extremely active, and special events are frequently announced on the OMHS Member's Website and at the monthly meetings. Two recurring annual events include:

Easter Egg hunt

Fall Festival & Flea Market

A special committee of the OMHS organizes the annual Fall Festival & Flea Market, which brings together neighbors as well as festival goers from throughout Mercer County and beyond. With live folk music, games, scarecrow making, a chili contest, pumpkin painting, a tug-o-war, and much more, the event is always a lot of fun.

The festival is free of charge - you just have to be able to paint a good pumpkin!

Parking and Directions

See the map below to find the Fall Fun Festival, located at Mill Hill Park, by the intersection of Livingston and S. Montgomery Streets. Your best bet is to park in the Artworks parking lot (Stockton Street, between Market and Front). If you're coming from the North on US-1 South, it's at the bottom of the Market Street Exit Ramp (which is signposted to the Train Station). After you park, it's then a quick and lovely walk along Assunpink Creek to the Festival.
